- Question 1Age 6+ or Turtle graduate?Yes: Level III · Shark. Then check face-in-water comfort and arm strokes to choose the right support.
- Question 2Verified self-rescue?Can they jump in, roll to a back float, and recover to the wall unassisted? Yes: Level II · Turtle.
- OtherwiseLevel I · JellyfishUnder 6 and can't float unassisted on their back after an entry or jump. Start with trust and the back float.
